Like almost all the pies, it is better if prepared a day ahead because the flavors are better defined. It 's suitable for an important occasion, perhaps accompanied by a spoonful of custard flavored with orange or why not? chocolate .... But, in my opinion, the batter of this cake is so good and refined that it enhances the wing icing orange juice without other additions ....

Ingredients: 230g flour 00
230g sugar 230g butter
2 egg yolks + 2 whole eggs
zest of 2 oranges juice of 1 orange
1 / 2 packet of baking powder pinch of salt
For the frosting:
a few drops of orange juice sugar to taste
Working to cream butter with sugar and add the chopped zest of two oranges (without the white part which is bitter).
Add eggs (one at a time).
Then add orange juice.
Finally, flour sifted with baking powder (no doubt about it ... me and the camera we had a fight ... heh, heh ..)
Mix well and bake in preheated oven.

Let the glaze dry for half an hour (drying time depends on the humidity of the air)
