San Michele: Quis ut Deus?

Christmas .... approaches ... With just a month and a half year ... ... Blog ... I knew you would do a little walk with you towards Christmas, but not only regard the holiday menu or a choice of gifts and decorations ....
You may recall that some time ago I mentioned the figure of Saint Raphael .... Today I offer some ideas about the personality of San Michele. Later we will talk about San Gabriel and our Guardian ...
I thought I'd start our own small way to the Christmas angels. Why? Why
furonoproprio them, the angels, to announce the birth of Jesus to us men!
You know? Li invoked? Or hear them away from your lives? What do you think? Do they exist? And if they exist, what role do they have? Do you have experience with them?

The angels are so involved in the affair of man and creation, so deeply, intimately and personally involved in the story of redemption ... yet not talked about, or at most are relegated to the role of extras in the fantastic and the naive ... Let us be guided by them in this small way Christmas ... Let us bring them into the cave of Bethlehem to adore the Baby Jesus! Happy reading!

I happened to read recently a private revelation so profound about San Michele Arcangelo as I had never read in my life. The author is a visionary who had the vision of the battle of Lucifer against God and St. Michael's fight against Lucifer.
According to this revelation, God created the Angels in a single act, but his first creature was Lucifer, light bearer, head of the Angels. The Angels knew God, but they had contact with him only by Lucifer.
When God appeared to Lucifer and other angels on his plan of creating human beings, Lucifer himself claims to be the head of humanity. But God revealed to him that the head of humanity would be another, namely the Son of God who was made man. With this act of God, humans, although created lower than angels, would have been raised. Lucifer was also accepted that the Son of God made man, was bigger than him, but he would definitely accept that Mary, a human being, was bigger than him, was the Queen of the Angels. It was then proclaimed that its "Non Serviam - I will not serve, do not obey"
With Lucifer, a part of the Angels, which he instigated, would not renounce the privileged position they had been insured and therefore proclaimed "Do not Serviam - I will not serve "
Certainly God did not fail to warn them:" With this gesture, is eternal death to yourself than to others. But they continued to meet, Lucifer in his head: "You do not need, we have freedom."
At some point God, so to speak, as it is withdrawn to allow them time to either decide for or against. Then began the battle with the cry of Lucifer: "Who is like me?". But at that moment there was the cry of an Angel, the simplest, most humble
"God is greater say! Who is like God? ". (The name Michael means just that "Who is like God?". But I still do not bore this name).
was at this point that the Angels were divided, some with Lucifer, who was with God
God asked Michael: "Who is fighting against Lucifer?". And again this Angel: "Who decided you are You, Lord." And God with Michael: "Who are you talking like that? Where you is courage and strength to oppose the first of the Angels? ".
Again the humble, submissive voice replies: "I am nothing, You who give me the strength to speak so." God then concluded: "Because you have seen nothing, my strength will be with you win Lucifer '". We also
Satan will never win alone, but only thanks to the power of God that God said to Michael: "With my strength will win Lucifer, the first of the Angels.
Lucifer, carried by his pride, he thought to establish an independent and separate from the kingdom of Christ and to become like God

Bishop Paolo Hnilica SJ in the journal "Pro Deo et Fratribus, December 1988.

The fight lasted not know. San Giovanni Evangelista, which saw the vision of the Apocalypse reproduce the heavenly scene of fighting, wrote that St. Michael had the upper hand Lucifer.
God, who until then had left open the possibility for the Angels, the Angels stepped in rewarding the faithful with Paradise, and punishing the rebels with a penalty corresponding to their own fault: he created Hell. Lucifer by Angelo became bright angel of darkness and was thrown in the deep depths of hell, followed by his comrades.
God rewarded the Angels faithful confirmed in grace, so, as expressed by theologians, to cease their status away, ie the state test, and came to the end of eternity in the state, where any change is impossible whether good or bad: so they became infallible and impeccable. Their intellect will never adhere to error, and their desire will never accede to sin. Were elevated to the supernatural state, so they too enjoy the Beatific Vision of God We humans, for the Redemption of Christ, we their comrades and brothers.
