Welcome back dear friends!
Today I post the recipe for a rustic pie pumpkin and potatoes simple and good. I think I belong in the Ligurian tradition ... I tried it because I had a nice pumpkin as a gift and I have some frozen for preparing soups and creams, some I've used it in fresh ways that I'll post soon. usually with pumpkin prepare a good risotto, but there are other delicious and unusual recipes ... to discover and invent! This land is very versatile, suitable for both sweet and savory recipes, rich in substances conducive to the body now that we are at the gates of winter, can be kept easily and long. Well ... pumpkin is a treasure trove of minerals and goodness!
Ingredients: 2 slices
pumpkin
3 potatoes extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, a little 'nut granular vegetable ingredient

1 roll of puff pastry rustic full (In this preparation seems to me that it is more suitable than normal)
rosemary / sage
leeks smoked cheese (you can use the simple or the smoked, or both)
In a saucepan, soften the leeks in a little extra virgin olive oil . I had no leeks and I replaced it with the onion, leek, but is certainly more appropriate in this preparation.
Then add the potatoes cut into cubes and the bouquet of aromas ....
Cook a little, then add the pumpkin, cut into chunks ...
Season with salt, pepper and, if necessary Nut granular. Let simmer the vegetables (add a little water if necessary but must be absorbed at the end of cooking), until the vegetables are cooked and you can crush with a fork. You will get a coarse puree ... Remove the sprig of rosemary and sage
Allow to cool and add the ingredient to surprise: a handful of pine nuts,
Then add the provolone into small pieces and mix very well.
Rustic Roll out the pastry on a baking sheet and prick the bottom ... Of course you can do in a salt crust home ... I think the shell is best suited to this wonderful pie ....
Pour the mixture and roll up the edges, then distribute a few pieces of provolone on the surface.
Bake according to package directions until the pasta cooking pasta ...

Eh, I know, I know .... Maddy will be angry .... but how do I do? how do I do? They are too good ..... Truly
version acchiappante ever in my opinion is breaded and fried, but ... In short .. Here we are all gaining weight very eyes .... therefore best not to overdo it with the fried! This recipe fast (just long enough to cook the meat) and without added fat or oil (the lamb is already perceived as fat) was really tasty.

lamb chops (you decide the amount) 2 cloves garlic
rosemary sage
beer
salt and pepper in a casserole pan place the meat seasoned with minced garlic, sage, rosemary .
Brown the meat over high heat and turn them to get the color on both sides. At this point flush with the beer.

The turkey meat (Maddy, not read!) Is rich in iron and low in fat. It tastes very mild and therefore lends itself well for recipes for light recipes a bit 'more flavored.
The combination with prunes and almonds may seem a bit 'corny ... soy sauce instead .. not only replaces the salt, but gives that touch of character that allows you to bind all ingredients.

Ingredients for 6 people: 700gr of
turkey breast 100g stoned prunes

Heat in a pan three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
Brown the meat.

And 'one of my favorite cake. I love the smell of the orange and the sweet aroma fills the house to announce the incredible Christmas! It 'delicious and soft. Like almost all the pies, it is better if prepared a day ahead because the flavors are better defined. It 's suitable for an important occasion, perhaps accompanied by a spoonful of custard flavored with orange or why not? chocolate .... But, in my opinion, the batter of this cake is so good and refined that it enhances the wing icing orange juice without other additions ....
is sure to please! Good Sunday to all!
Ingredients: 230g flour 00
230g sugar 230g butter
2 egg yolks + 2 whole eggs
zest of 2 oranges juice of 1 orange
1 / 2 packet of baking powder pinch of salt
For the frosting:
a few drops of orange juice sugar to taste
Working to cream butter with sugar and add the chopped zest of two oranges (without the white part which is bitter).
Add eggs (one at a time).
Then add orange juice.
Finally, flour sifted with baking powder (no doubt about it ... me and the camera we had a fight ... heh, heh ..)
Mix well and bake in preheated oven.
cooked, put on a plate and let cool thoroughly on a wire rack (5 minute or maybe I should remove it first ... but check with a skewer).
When it is cooled to prepare the frosting: In a bowl, mix icing sugar with a few drops of orange juice. I recommend ... the seeds ... eh, eh ..
Warning: you will pay only a few drops of juice, just enough to create a mess not too runny to pour over the cake and cover it completely.
Let the glaze dry for half an hour (drying time depends on the humidity of the air)
and decorate with silver balls or sugar flowers (and ... it is all blurred ... it goes well, this recipe has been plagued with the picture ..).
